COLUMBIA RIVER HIGHWAY

Take the Columbia River Highway (Historic Route 30) via the Columbia River Gorge beginning at Troutdale, Oregon. This path provides breathtaking views of the river, waterfalls, and lush greenery. Be sure to make a pit stop in Hood River on your way to Boardman for incredible local restaurants and breweries.
JOURNEY THROUGH TIME
The picturesque byway known as "Journey Through Time" takes you through the varied landscapes and history of Oregon. From Biggs Junction, take US-97 south, then turn onto OR-19 to go in the direction of Boardman. The journey passes through breathtaking rock formations, fossil beds, desert landscapes, and canyons.
BLUE MOUNTAINS
Consider taking the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway if you prefer rugged terrain. Start at Pendleton, Oregon, and head south on OR-395 in the direction of Ukiah. From there, take OR-244 west, and it will take you to Boardman. The Blue Mountains and dense forests can both be seen along this path.

HELLS CANYON
The Hell's Canyon Scenic Byway passes through the beautiful Wallowa Mountains Hell's Canyon, which is the deepest river gorge in North America. Start in La Grande, Oregon, then travel east on OR-82. Follow the signs for the scenic byway, which will guide you through stunning mountain landscapes and eventually lead you to Boardman.
